The main switch, operating mechanism and components of the ring network cabinet are made of SFL-12/24 switchgear assembled and produced domestically by ABB company or imported parts, and can also be equipped with ABB company's original HAD/US type SF6 according to user needs. Cabinet structure

● SFL type load switch (ABB original)
○ The SFL type load switch is a double breakpoint, rotating movable contact, using SF6 gas as the arc extinguishing medium, and the dynamic and static contact is placed in the molded epoxy resin shell with a reinforced structure. At the lead end of the operating shaft is a transparent hot-pressed plastic end cover, through which the state can be observed.
○ Each switch is permanently sealed after being charged with SF6 gas at a pressure of 1.4 bar (SFL means "forever sealed"), and a nitrogen detector can be used to check for gas leakage. There is no limit to the vertical or horizontal installation of the switch. In the unit cabinet, the typical installation method is to place a steel baffle between the cable room and the busbar room and install it horizontally. This installation method encloses the switch shell in a grounded steel plate and isolates the busbar from the cable joint to meet the strictest safety requirements for operation and maintenance.
○ If an internal arc occurs, there is a structural weakness at the back of the shell, which will flush away, diverting the arc gas out of the switch, and then the arc discharge valve above the cabinet is flushed open and directing the overpressure gas outside the cabinet.

The VD4-S type vacuum circuit breaker is specially designed for unit switchgear, and its breaking capacity is sufficient to handle various conditions, including the operation of normal switching equipment or branch network, as well as the short circuit in special cases.
○ Vacuum circuit breakers are especially suitable for networks that operate frequently within the operating current range. The VD4-S vacuum circuit breaker is equipped with a spring-operated mechanism with a reclosing function (-0.3s-combined-180s-combined), and it operates reliably and has a long service life. The entire circuit breaker includes three vacuum switching bubbles, and the exterior is a simple, vertical structure with resin insulation.
○ Arc extinguishment is the result of the forced displacement of the arc due to the spiral groove of the arc extinguishing contact. Since the minimum static vacuum in the switch insulation is 10-4 to 10-8 bar, a high insulation strength can be obtained despite a relatively small gap between the switch contacts. The arc extinguishes at the first zero of the short circuit current.
Due to the small contact gap, the high conductivity of the metal gas plasma region at the arc voltage drop, and the short arc burning time, the arc energy is extremely low, which is beneficial to the extension of the contact and even the entire switch life.

○ The HAD/US type SF6 circuit breaker is specially designed for ring network switchgear, and its breaking capacity is sufficient to handle various conditions, including normal switching equipment or branch network operation and short circuit breaking under special circumstances. The new generation of HAD has the latest SF6 breaking technology, coupled with a simple structure, which requires very little operating energy. Such a simple energy storage operating mechanism has the characteristics of long mechanical life during use. The circuit breaker can be automatically reclosing operation by selecting a spring operating mechanism.
○ The special structure of the breaking part of the switch can prolong the electrical life. The switch is made of a split independent column structure and placed vertically. The switch adopts the principle of self-energy arc blowing, that is, the arc itself is used to extinguish the arc. When the circuit breaker is switched off, the dynamic and static contacts in the arc extinguishing room generate an arc. The high temperature and ionization effect generated by the arc make the SF6 gas pressure rise rapidly in the arc extinguishing room. With the increase of pressure and the gradual separation of the arc contacts, the gas is forcibly sprayed into the arc extinguishing room through the nozzle, so the arc becomes sparse, cooled, blocked, and prevented from reigniting. Therefore, the moving part of the switch requires very little energy, which further enhances the reliability of long-term operation.

● SFL-12/24 type switchgear
The main components of OSFL12/24 type switchgear are imported original parts. The switchgear is a double-fracture, three-station, rotating movable contact with SF6 gas as the arc extinguishing medium. The movable contact is placed in the die-casting epoxy resin shell with reinforced structure.
O Each switch is permanently sealed after being charged with 0.4bars air pressure SF6 gas, and can be checked for gas leakage with a nitrogen detector. The switch is vertical and can be installed horizontally. The typical installation method in the ring network cabinet is to place a steel plate between the cable room and the busbar room and install it horizontally. This installation method isolates the busbar from the cable joint to meet the strictest safety requirements for operation and maintenance.
O If an internal arc occurs, there is a structural weakness at the rear of the enclosure, which will be flushed away. Then the arc relief valve above the cabinet opens and directs the overpressure airflow outside the cabinet. operation
For the switch equipment with load switch, a special operating handle is used to operate on the front of the switch equipment. The front of the operating mechanism has upper and lower operating holes, the upper part is the ground switch operating hole, and the lower part is the load switch operating hole.
When operating, the handle rotates clockwise to the switch closing direction, and counterclockwise to the switch opening direction. Electric opening and closing devices can also be installed for remote control operation. (Note: Sometimes the load switch does not have a ground switch, and the ground switch operation hole is used as the cabinet door unlocking).
For switching equipment with combined electrical appliances, except for the manual opening button for the opening operation of the load switch, the operation sequence is the same as above. The lower ground switch separately provided in the combined electrical appliance cabinet is divided and connected with the upper ground switch through the connecting rod. Release the residual small current on the lower fuse seat when closing to improve the safety of replacing the fuse.
